Not surprisingly these types of garden lights are still very popular with a lot of consumers, however today more and more elaborate alternatives are becoming available.

 Everyone has their own reasons for installing garden lights however they generally fall into one of two main categories. The first is for security. The garden is probably the main access point for the home and so people understandably want to light the area up. The second reason for installing garden lights is for socializing purposes. Once you have a nice garden with a decked or patio area then you're going to want to make the most of it, and garden lighting allows you to enjoy the outdoors until late into the night. Garden lights don't have to be expensive or complicated to make an impression - you just need to know what looks good and where to place them.
